Why connect your Trezor to BTC Direct?
Linking your Trezor to your BTC Direct account combines two things that usually trade off: safe self-custody and fast purchases.
After connecting, you can buy bitcoin and 35+ other cryptocurrencies directly from your Trezor Suite environment. The coins land on your Trezor automatically, no copying receiving addresses, no switching browser tabs, no transaction errors. It's a one-time setup, after which every future purchase is one click away.

What is a Trezor?
A Trezor is a hardware wallet, a physical device that stores the private keys to your cryptocurrencies offline. Because the keys never leave the device, your coins are protected even if your computer is hacked or infected with malware.
Trezor was the first hardware wallet on the market (launched in 2014 by SatoshiLabs) and remains one of the most trusted brands in the industry. They offer two main models: the Trezor Model One (entry-level, supports bitcoin and the most popular altcoins) and the Trezor Model T (touchscreen, supports more coins and more features for advanced users).
