Mobile wallet, ready in 5 minutes
The easiest way to get a wallet quickly. Works on your phone, no complex install.
1. Download a wallet app
Open the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) and search for a wallet app that supports the crypto you're buying. For bitcoin, BlueWallet and Trust Wallet work well. For multiple coins, Exodus is a common choice. All free.
2. Create a new wallet
Open the app and choose "Create new wallet". The app generates a seed phrase: a list of 12 or 24 English words. This is the key to your wallet.
3. Write your seed phrase on paper
Write the words in the correct order on a sheet of paper and store it safely at home. Not in a photo, not in a notes app. Lose this paper and your phone, and you lose your crypto.
4. Copy your wallet address
In the app, find the "Receive" button. There's your wallet address: a string of letters and numbers. Copy it and paste it into your order.
Prefer your computer? Software wallet
Prefer working on your laptop or desktop? A software wallet is the right choice. Known options are Exodus (multi-coin) and Electrum (bitcoin only, simple and trusted). The steps are the same as for a mobile wallet: download, create a new wallet, write down your seed phrase, and copy your wallet address.
Security tip: don't lose your seed phrase
Your seed phrase is the only way to access your crypto if you lose your phone or laptop. Take a photo of it or save it digitally and you risk someone else getting hold of it. Write it on paper and store it where only you can reach it.
Wallet ready? Back to your order
Paste your wallet address in the field and finish your purchase. Not sure you copied the address correctly? Compare the first four and last four characters, they should match exactly.
Buy your first crypto in 3 minutes, straight to your own wallet.
